Rain gardens: locate, design, & install watershed supportive gardens; conserve soil, filter runoff, & provide habitat
Assess your home or business to see if it is watershed friendly and adjust accordingly. We link clients with Blue BTV, a certification assisting landowners to create and maintain watershed protection practices. Blue BTV evaluates properties for opportunities to reduce nutrient & chemical pollution; certifying properties that meet Watershed friendly standards. MycoEvolve incorporates these into designs involving rain gardens & other green infrastructure to protect the lake.
Below are pictures from a rain garden we installed on 5/6/18 in Burlington in collaboration with Lake Champlain International's Blue Evaluation Program (which transitioned to Blue BTV) and a stellar work crew.
